I posted a while ago about some inspiration for self promotion ideas. I presented my project today and it went quite well. Just wanted to share it with you, Thanks.

hahaha, thats a distorted illustration of me. I wanted to make myself funny lookin to add to the humor of the project. I serious looking picture of myself on the bottle just didn't feel right.

good idea - send a sixer to a firm that you want a job at...
but... the design doesnt exactly work - so it just looks a bit weird.. and the message a bit blurred.

oh i guess i forgot to explain what the assignment my prof. gave us was. We were supposed to create something to send to a design agency to promote ourselves. I figured what director at an art agency isn't going to want a six pack of beer, and i tried to add my creative touches as well.

so it's 'Guerilla Marketing'. You can do a lot of this stuff these days, like putting your name on match inserts, etc.

That's hilarious. Our college profs used to always tell us to do something alcohol related as a promo. I don't really like the execution or the idea, but I'm sure it will get you some attention.

Thanks for the input guys...It seems that the general concenses is that the concept was good but the outcome fell a bit short. What things should i try to improve on for next time?

at first glance the package looks like what it is... made by you.
maybe try to do it more from a package design stance.
your point will still be made, as no one will drink a beer without first looking at the label to see what it is.

reminded me of this for some reason
but you know what would have been a nice touch? wrapping the bobottle in that colored tissue stuff u get from art stores that mached your color scheme...and having a business card with the same color scheme stapled to the box
