I just found out that my health insurance is going thru the roof... the company I design for can't afford to pay the bulk of it anymore. so we, the employees, are going to have to shoulder the responsibility with our pretaxed dollars.
my reason for working here is getting smaller and smaller by the day...
anyone else just have a gigantic increase in the cost of health insurance? I want to get an idea of what other employers are doing about it...
thanks.

every year it's a double-digit% increase.

I just graduated and I had the school's health care, which was great, but now Blue Cross is charging me $268 a month because I had a kidney infection right when I switched insurance! I hate them. A lot.

yeah....where I work they say that by the end of the year they will get something for us...but hey, they said that last year too....anyway...dont afford to insure me self...so I guess I'm screwed if something happens.

I know, lets start our own health care co. We can have lower rates than evrybody else and all of America will switch to us and we can tell the other health care co.'s to piss off! Brilliant!
