I just applied for the same job that I applied to a few months ago. I know that they haven't filled the position yet so I thought Id give it another go since I never heard back from them.
Do you guys think this is a mistake?

Did you call and talk to someone after you applied teh first time? Always do that - always follow up....

you can do that, it just shows determination.

Yep, there's nothing wrong with doing that.

I'd do that in case my resume got buried in the oblivion of other rotten resumes.
But in the 2nd time I apply, I might mention to them that i have applied in the past and just wanted to follow up with them.
...just to show the determination and the strong wish to work for the company.

--------------They don't encourage it. They don't post a contact person and they dont post a phone #
I'm trying to find out if any of my friends have friends at the company.

thanks you made me feel better

persistence pays off......well, it does with jobs, women are a different story
- MIJA0
w/ women all you get out of it is a restraining order.
I hate that.
- grafholic0
well...a little persistency is good...it's when you call me after my changing number and not giving you the new number, or yell at any boy i'm walking around the town with and make sure your apparatus is bigger, wider, and longer than theirs, or when you hang outside my bedroom window and throw rocks at it....that's when restraining order is in place.

i hate being ignored. i really do.
i mean, how long does it take to click reply and say "your work suck suck.. we no no"
- grafholic0
i know.
then i was a part of the team to hire someone a few months ago. i got on the email list to receive/scan resume.on top of regular emails that comes and goes at work, i had extra 200 emails per day all with resume. unfortunately, that left me no time to respond unless the response was "are you available for phone interview..."
