401k monitored by a financial advisor. 15% of my income goes into it. WHUT!

Talk to an AXA advisor. You'll be setup proper and you can see the plan along with all the goals right in front of you.

i have roth IRA, but there's $3000 limit on the annual investment.
now, i am starting to think more about investing and saving money somewhere outside of the states.
maybe invest in gold and diamonds like rappers and hiphop artist?

AXA...ugh. not recommended.
take FULL advantage of roth IRAS every year (max them out), build your own 401k, don't use credit cards, fund a good "oh sh•t" savings account. etc. etc...

what exactly is this "401k" you kids speaketh of??

you can do better than what is essentially a french insurance company for investment.
find a good broker if that's what you want and diversify into the market as you wish.

The problem with most brokers is that they are limited to their in-house funds. AXA is not. They can access over 5000 of them.
You hire a pro that you're comfortable with and looks out for your best interest.

I too have a roth ira. the interests sucks. I'm supposed to be seeing 10% growth each year outside of my $3G but after 6 months I haven't seen shit. I blame Bush and the economy mainly.

I'm in Canada but put money into RRSP's for a couple of years then cashed them in to buy a house. They have a 1st time home buyers deal where you can use your RRSPs towards your downpayment and not have to pay the tax right away. Now all my investement funds are going into fixing up this old place.
