Anyone here make their own books? As in book binding or other stuff like that?
I'd be interested in hearing 'cause I just did a book binding course over the last two weekends.

yeah i bound something my self once. sewed the binding, back and forth back and forth in little holes i punched in the side.
took FOREVER. sooooo worth it though.

book binding is great. I used to make all my own sketchbooks after my hand book binding course in school. I do less these days.
This girl makes cool hand made books for sale and it's her birthday tomorrow.

yeah much to my surprise I had a great time! although I was expecting it to be good I wasn't expecting it to be great! :)
Now I want to do my portfolio as a book and hand bound at that.
would be sweet.

is the shop that inspired me in the first place. aaaaaaaaawesome books. so tasty and delicious I could eat them. although a photo album would probably cost me $400 at the least so eating wouldn't be a good idea.

I bound lots of books at college, since the facilities were more readily available. My best book though was my final thesis (it had yellow and brown stripy headbanding and everything, v oldschool) It's got a letterpressed dust jacket
you can see it on my site:
