I'm looking for a simple L shaped desk for computer work. I'm digging the Galant series. It's kind of confusing as there are way too many to choose from. Can anyone recommend these or other desks?

Dude - if you live near an IKEA location (there aren't many) they have a killer "floor model" clearance section.
I bought 2 of those and got the tops for about 20.00 each. Then I bought (new) legs from IKEA for about 14.00 a pair.
Definitely ALOT cheaper if you can actually go to a store and dig through the clearance.

Oh that's cool. It's too hard to choose from a small pic anyway plus they are expensive. So are you happy with the desks? Do you like how they are interchangeable? I can't tell anything about them.

They are great, but have no storage. IKEA really rips you if you want anykind of storage to go with it.
For the most part they are quality though.

IKEA office furniture have a higher quality than the regular stuff, that's why it's a little pricier.

heavy, the one you picked is the one i got (without the extension). works perfect for me. used to have regular square desks (huge ones) but the l-shaped is more efficient, as in i have a big ass 22" crt screen right in that corner and still have plenty of space to do other stuff.
