Yeah, my budget is limited, but I still would like something decent for that money if its less better.
I was looking at the Canon Optura 20 Mini DV.
wich seems to be quite good for its price range. My main concern is that is should work good under low light, (not the green night shot thingy) and most of the time it will be sitting on a tripod.http://minidvguide.com/detail.as…
Anyone has experience with this camera? or something else to reccomend, under 500 only please!
thanks

canon is respectable. go for it!

what are you using it for? cause if you just need something that captures low end video, you may want to look at a digital camera that captures video, like the canon S1-iS ..it has an image stabilizer in it for low level lighting, with a 10x optical zoom.. $399, but the memory card you'd need would be around $149 ...and you'd only get about 30 min or so..
just different options.

Im mainly going to use it inside nightclubs, to do captures of the dj/audience and then project on to screens.
I would like the best video quality possible in that range of price, camera will be on a tripod most of the time. so image stabilizer is something I dont really care that much.because 80% of the time will be dark, I need it to be clear under low light conditions.
Keep opinions, and comments coming, past experiences, or suggestions please!
thanks
