Nintendo Killed My Son!

It's now 8:30pm on Monday 1st of November. I'm just after watching Tonight with Trevor McDonald and their report on how Interactive Videogames can influence the behaviour of children, and to be honest i think it was a joke. Let me explain.
I've been playing Videogames for many years now (16 to be precise)and over that period of time there have been many "so called" violent games, but never have they influenced me or anybody i know to harm anybody. I think it's all about the individual i.e. the way they've been brought up.
To blame Videogames on an individuals behaviour is nonsense. I'm not surprised that the kid in the Tonight with Trevor McDonald report bought all 18 rated games (Doom 3, GTA 1,2,3, Manhunt,Mortal Combat and others) in local retail stores without a question being asked as i think the whole subject is being blown out of proportion.
I for one, hope this "Videogames killed my son" shite goes away and pretty fuckin quick at that. Leave us alone and let us do what we've been doing for the past 20 odd years, having fun!
