They ran some test pilots here in the US and they bombed very very very badley. That is the last I heard.

there was talk of a US version of the office with Brad pit as Ricky garves.. thank god that was just a rumour

The Office rocks. you can watch episodes a few times and still find new jokes you missed the first time.
I just got into "Curb your enthisiasm" - with Larry David, co-creator of Sein Feld. Very funny stuff.
