heard the acting is pure cheese. i chose to see the Incredibles rather than Saw last night and i gotta say that even for a 23 year old, I really liked the Incredibles. good film.

don't waste your time or money, was so pumped to see this flick and left in disgust, but it IS worth going if you think 95% of the people that talked about said it was shite.

whatever, i was all "dont see it it looks hooooorrible" but i saw it today and was impressed. total mind job though, which is always fun.
find out for yourself though, dont listen to these opinion pushers.
also, my "graphic design 2" class is going to see the incredibles for a field trip, rock on!

tell me warheros, what did you the of the acting? I thought it was the worst i have ever seen on the big screen

Unfortunatly, I saw SAW, and was disappointed. It wasn't gory, it wasn't suspenseful... it wasn't anything but slow. If they cut that movie down to about 40 minutes, I think they might score a B- at least.

i dont understand why people would think its a bad movie. enough of the "o the acting is hilarious", "o the acting is horrible", "o its so like seven", "o..."
like i said in the previous SAW thread.. i know there are major flaws in the movie, the bad acting, its similarities in tone and plot to other movies, and i hated the fast MTV shots.
but, i think the plot is nice. it pays attention to detail, esp the first scene. i like the general art direction, although its reminicent of NIN/manson-esque darkness.
and dont tell me you didn't thought the movie was gory for one bit when you were in the theater. the style of gore is different to that of cannibal holocaust or shit like that.
people judge things too much by comparison. alot of times we make these references thats not even on the same level as whats being pointed.

i think the story had great potential but it faded towards the end and became laughable.
spolier ahead!
When he saws off his foot in the end it was so bad, you could see that his leg was still there, then he started crawling away and said some of the most corney lines i've heard in a long time, Danny Glover was terrible, he's drawn out setences reaked of over acting, and the main doctor guys acting was terrible, maybe with a bigger buget, better actors and a better ending it would have been good.
Save yourself some money, the guy dead in the middle of the room did it

i honestly didnt notice the acting, i thought it was all right, it fit the movie.
honestly, what do you expect? oscar nominations? come on! it's a fucking scary movie!
the leg thing wasnt THAT bad, it was believable. you gotta look passed the little things! otherwise you will never be happy.

Saw was good. Go see it. Go easy on the acting. It wasn't that bad. and tons of blood is fun. Plus it was pretty disturbing.
Don't go into it thinking you're going to see the greatest movie ever and you won't be disapointed.

I really enjoyed DIG!, and after it they showed a great documentary on Thom Dowd
