I thinks its too green for a doctor/surgeon site and too much soft blending. The graident in the nav is tooo much and the white glow around the whole thing seems like too much. For a doctors site i would want a little less of a dream like quality and more seriousnesss to it.

IMO, you are heading in the right direction, but you are overdoing some stuff.
If you want to use the outer glow I would reduce it to about the half.
And the whole site is too smooth and shiny.
Reduce all that a bi and it will look a lot better.That was my opinion after a short loook at it.

the swirl of that letter on the bird's tit is perhaps the best piece of design I have seen this year.

I never surfed in hawaii but i was in Maldives this summer!
i think the site is not bad, BUT I do agree with most of bk_shankz said...

thanks for the feedback everyone. the client wanted somethingh soft and dreamy and their colors are light greens, so that's where that direction came from.
(yes, Elfangio, that's me on the left wave, here on the north shore of oahu last winter)

I'm agreeing with most have said above, you're definitely over doing the surreal look. Also, not to be 12 again, but your type choise in the logo at the top reads his degree/certification as FAGS sorta... all caps in a script is a no no, so maybe try another face like a nice organic serif. imo....
