I think you have some good work but you have to work on the spacing in your site....ie: the large gray area above the graphics/work needs to be smaller/same size as the rest of the borders.
grid it out. tighten it up. then spread the work.

couple of quick comments:
1) on your splash page, centering your text makes it a lot less readable than having it justified left.. and it took me like 10 seconds to figure out where i was supposed to click to enter the site.. so maybe fix the justification.. or just make "enter jl porftolio" a different color, or draw attention to it in some other way.
2) line up your folio pieces to the top of the page, instead of having that awkward negative space up top (i realize you're lining it up to the nav of the folio, but its a poor usage of screen real estate, esp for lower res')
3) you also center justified your portfolio descriptions... justify that shit left... and tighten up that leading. looks loosey-goosey
im a fan of these types of folio's though, simple and easy to navigate.. i just think you should address those issues i pointed out.

I agree with the above. Kern the letters out, a font like that should have some breathing room and look sexy.

I really am not diggin' the uppercase courier.
Also on the CMYK posters, one of them only has CMY. And they are positioned in the traditional RGB format [overlapping circles].
It's obvious from your samples you have a keen eye and some great work. I would work on the above mentioned and it will be toit! good job.

looks gridded out to me...the actual work starts on the same level as the line above work. i might spread it out a bit though-- but that is just being nitpicky
overall, great work. esp. for only being 16?

I get your points watching the spacing. But this has something to do with the resize function.
All the text (or most of it) matches the browser window size.

Lol, no. A friend of mine is a huge of fan of him and HIM so it was sure that he wanted his envelop to look like that.
