alllrighty then,
albatross footage

frame by frame would be best,
but you can tweak and tween to get somewhat of a similar effect.

ah you finally found it!
but then this one doesn't move his wings... he is more gliding..
anyway, tracing manually will give best results..
it can be tricky at first but after some trial and error you'll be pleased with what you can achieve.
and note: you will do it just in black for the site, a silhouette and it doesn't have to be big, so do not break yerself over details here, just outline the characteristics of the albatros in both sketch and motion..

if you have aftereffects you could manipulate it and put a poster effect on the video first..
that way when you bring the frames into flash you just do a trace bitmap and then remove the shapes you don't need

hmm good point, dont have after effects :(
just exported image sequence from quicktime, into p-shop, then vectored each frame in streamline, imported into flash
