kind of true though, that looks like some spyware created pop up that I spent a day cleaning off of my buddy's computer.

don't hack on him so quick. I've made nice sites for clients, only for them to shut me down, and make me do it their way..

Colors = eye-catching but in a bad way. I look at it for a second and I have to look away because those colors just burnt my retinas. You really expect people to be able to read that white text on top of that INTENSE blue?
Structure = don't see any. There's no hierarchy, my eyes are everywhere and there's no smooth flow for me to read any of the information.
Why flash for the menu? That can be easily done with some CSS.
I say get a real designer... or find a good site and just copy that until your design skills finally make their debut.

dcdomain actually gave art direction. Great job. I think its safe to say you could have just put "Stay at Kinkos for a little while and try an art program at a local college."
