    hey,
    i have a question about alphachannels showing up when u export to pdf in indesign. why?

    i mean i have an image i treat in photoshop with say a person on one layer and leave the layer beneath it empty and save as a psd. i import that psd into indesign and it looks fine (you dont see anything where the alpha channel is. but when i export, the alphachannel is given a subtle color and so the image looks like a square. which setting should i be toying with, cause i set the transparency flatter setting to highest. any ideas?

    thanksnadvance

    thats kind of a weird way to do it.. I don't have experience with psd in id. I would try saving as a layered tiff and see what happpens. If that don't work.. try the good ol' clipping path trick!

    let me know what happens
