Hey,
If I've designed something in poster size like say 35" x 70", is there a way to export it as a PDF, so it can be printed on a 11" x 14" paper?I know when it comes to printing you can take any file and specify the appropiate size but i want this pdf to be made for 11 x 14 so the user just has to press print.
*Im using InDesign 2 if that makes any difference

is there a way to get a 35 x 70 poster to 11 x 14?
yes
redesign it to the right size...

export the original as an .EPS, then place the .EPS in a new 11x14 doc., resized to fit.

im new to InDesign so sorry if its a stupid question, but they needed a poster for 35 by 70 so i spent some hours designing it for that size in indesign.
however they also want a file for handouts based on the poster for a 11x14 size, are you saying i have to redesign the whole thing allover again? there's no feature like reduce everything by a factor of 50% or anything?
thanks for any suggestions

select all > cut and past into a new document with the desired artboard size and then scale it down.

I think you can also print the original directly from Acrobat and print it "fit to page" on 11x17.

group it and scale it, then resize the page
