Um....it was somethin a little different.
It was single application that you could drop into a folder. when you clicked on the application it would automatically play every image in that folder in a slideshow. It was really nifty for a presentations... no setup. You could set timing options and background color but other than that it was automatic.
I had it on my old mac and must not have transferred it.
I guess I could do it outta Flash or somethin... this was just soooo easy.

It was called QuickShow. Not sure if there is anything like that for OSX...
I've switched to using iView MediaPro for a lot of stuff that I previously did with lots of different apps. Means you have to let it build a catalog first, but then you get SO many more options for slideshows (fade types, multiple layouts etc), as well as all the rest: annotating, renaming, sorting into sets by date or attribute, or just custom labelled sets, making galleries, contact sheets... I could go on but I'll stop now.

Awesome, thanks ribit. Quickshow was totally it... it was when I was running OS9.
I'll give iView mediapro a try.
cheers to you!
