"Pattern" software

  anybody knows a software that makes you a photo out of many little ones?
  i try to do the same thing with letters...
  it's that "color halftone" effect but i want to replace the dots with type.

  any ideas?

  that's a technique .. i first learned it in the Photoshop Wow book 3 i think ;)

  uy can u se anything :letters picture etc..
