Hey, Im using InDesign 2, and i've been requested to export a PDF in black and white (the PDF itself has to be black and white, not printing in black and white). is there an option for that? if so, where?

unfortunately, i think you'll need to replace the colors with shades of grey, and replace the imported graphics with greyscale. I hope I'm wrong

i hope youre wrong too lol...arg, is there any work arounds possible...import to pshop and do something....?

i know you can do it in distiller, i only have id cs here. try playing with the pdf setup options.

well, if you don't mind having everything rasterized, you can open the pdf in PS and make greyscale.

go under the print menu and under printer description click print to post script file. at the output option click on grayscale. it should write a greyscale ps file you can distill or open in illy and save as pdf. let me know if it works, i only have cs here.
