I am looking for high res versions of either of these items.
Preferably one with birds on both sides, but all and any are welcome.
Thank you.

look at that russian site.
it's been posted 3,457 times here.

That Russian site was fucking sweet. But it is gone. Actually it changed into another site that is not as good.
Or maybe it still exists and I do not know where?
Anyone?

If you don't specify what type, herald or family the 'Crest / Coat of Arms' relate to, you're probably missing the point.
So many generations of culture distilled into an utterly pointless 125px w gif or swf. w00t.

eh.
- DutchBoy0
yeah what are you using it for?
all crests have lost meaning with designtrends nowadays..
- grafiske0
I am using it for something absolutely meaningless.

You're not sick of seeing those by now? It's a little late to be starting on one of those.

are we in 2001 ?

for a company portfolio made to look like a 19th century book.
Not out of context on a trendy t-shirt.
Your sarcasm is so last week.
Apathy and silence are the new sarcasm.

I disagree, that's a generalization. Crests have been around for centuries and still have useful applications. Perhaps what you mean to say is that crests with birds in the old wddg/everbody else vain is worthy of contempt in the NT high court?

I love how some of you think you're such design dictators where you can condecendingly comment on someones usage of a crest for instance.
>>You're not sick of seeing those by now? It's a little late to be starting on one of those.
>>digitalswarmLate? I'd like to see where you found the expiration date on starting a crest.
Christ, i've yet to see a good use of a crest from the last 50 years or so.
If you people truly have your finger on the pulse of design trends, then you'd be coming up with the next ones for the rest of us to over-use

BTW, the word 'crest' is the incorrect term.. the correct term IS 'coat of arms'.
the crest is (traditionally) JUST the animal symbol atop the helmet at the top of the shield in a given coat of arms.
please use the terms correctly.
