What's up with the american flu? What symptoms are there? Can you die of it? I'm only asking 'cause there's so much talk about it on the TV, not enough shots and so on. Is it that big a problem?

nah, just old people die from it really.
the US uses too many vaccines and drugs and shit anyway.

ach it's the fear machine thats telling people to be worried about the flu shot shortage.
i am just getting over the flu personally, on tuesday i couldnt even get off the couch. i think i have had one flu shot in my life, the more disease you fight the stronger your imune system is.

Nahhh, it's not serious.
People with HIV and old people can get Pneumonia and then that can lead to death. Depends on your immune system.
Actually, it's funny because I weren't the strains are called 'Honk Kong' or 'Japanese' or so they were back in the early 90's?

Always found it funny how SARS was such a big freakin' deal when the flu kills more people on a yearly basis but no one ever freaks out about it. Guess that's changed now.
Everybody run, the homecoming queen's got a gun.

The flu, like many other illnesses, is another check in the "natural selection" scheme. And at this point in civilization, you've got to be a real weakling (we're talking coma, a pussy infant, or 109) to die from it.
Oh, and don't take the vaccines. That's like making your immune system sit on the couch and eat chips all day.
