1 you were not fired.. you were laid off.. witch is much better because you didnt do anything wrong to get fired... so that means you should be getting some money ....2. where were you working... location

PS. as for only working for 4 months there and having that on your resume.. your work is good and will land you a job way before they would look at how long you worked at a place.. and if it did come up... just explain that your company closed the office. Nothing wrong with that.

Donvitoviti - I was working at the Hard Rock Hotel...was my dream job until earlier today. Thanks, yeah I just wanted have a nice big lush portfolio, was working on some fun projects.

So, i'm fired last week and i don't think its a big deal you know. Just search another job explore your world. Honestly its a great opportunity to find some other realy intresting work.
And i've already got new work by starting freelance.

hahah thanks tara thats pretty much what it felt like. Why the fuck am I even at work today? I should just tell them to shove these two weeks. All they want is for me to fucking transfer files and do some work so the guy in LA doesnt get slammed.
Also heard that when HR hears about this then they are going to lock me out anyways. Might as well just walk down to HR play stupid and tell them...'hey I just got canned but they promised me two more weeks of pay how does this work?'
