Transparency makes text/vectors rough?

  Hey!

  When I use transparency in Indesign it makes my text and vector files rough and more bold.

  Take a look at this:
  

  

  
  The second image has transparency turned on.

  Maybe its hard to see but it gets even more rough when you print it, particulary the DVD logo.

  Are my settings wrong or is this a bug/problem?

  When InDesign flattens areas affected by transparency it has to rasterize everything.

  Make sure you have this set to HIRES and see if that looks any better,
