hi!
i'm looking for a change... a change of country to be exact...
i was thinking in going to germany, austria, or switzerland...
can anyone point me, either to good design firms, or directories where i can find them?

Well considering you are in the EU, you can pretty much venture to any other EU country and work. Depends, if you like the cold you can head to Northern EU.

switzerland may be difficult....you will probably need a permit to work there... no work no permit / no permit no work... vicious circle.
But Zürich is the coolest city I know this side of the south pole.

besides portuguese which is my native language, i speak english, but i'm willing to learn a new language...
and i mean graphic design.
i would love to go to a place where there is plenty of snow...

Sweden would be good for snow and hot chicks. It's quite a small market though so finding a job may be hard. But not impossible. Pros in comparsion with central europe is that everybody speaks english here and everybody likes to do it as well.

yep language is a big thing.. u won't find a job if u do not speak the native language.. unless u 're a code guru.. ;)
and u won't learn german in two weeks either ! german is pretty hard to learn..
switzerland is very nice.. i love Basel and Geneva is pretty nice too.. damn expensive.. italian swiss par t sis gorgeous ; locarno, lugano

once and for all Zürich is the most expensive city in Switzerland and is no more expensive than Edinburgh.
