You know how there are alot of beautiful sites out there with gorgeous old victorian type wallpaper for the background... classic serifs etc?
Well... I need sites like that for reference - I'm thinking something with a classic boutique style (think 50's Beverly Hills Health Spa... but not 60's jet set).
bah... I think you all know what i'm talking about. Victorian classic ... yet slightly (but tastefully) gaudy.
Any links? The site can be a portfolio... a business... I don't care... I'm just looking for that style.

i once made this small site for a classic cottage for rent next to a farm..

for those not familiar with our traditional visual elements..
it's all elements from old farmhouses, red is from the wallpapers used in some, black from the wooden ext. panels, the checkered red/white = tablecloth, the blueish tiles is the tiles/ceramics used on old ovens etc..
so it's always a good idea to use these elements wisely in the right context..
