not holograms, but what do you call it when you have those images that change when you hold it at a different angle? they were big in 80s cereal toys..
its coverd by plastic with ridges in it...the band TOOL used it for one of their album covers.
what is the process to create such things? and is the plastic available anywhere say in a 12 x 18 size? thanks.

It's called Lenticular something... go here and there is software you can buy.

Click on the ugly WOW package.You have to have the software that will change the photo and then you print it on an inkjet printer. Then you use a screen to put over the paper, and it works...
I don't know too much about it, but I have a friend that's used it and it does work.

Yeah it is called lenticular and if you want something output professionally using this process prepare to pay an arm and a leg, not to mention there a very few shops that can actually produce the artwork properly (at least in Toronto). I do know one shop that has experience with this...
They don't have samples online, but they have some in their shop.
