hey 2cent
what is your take on prior snowboards?
- 2cent0
all i can say about Prior is that i personally have never ridden one, but everyone i know who does ride one or has ridden one has nothing but good things to say about them.
i really never hear anything bad about their boards to be honest.
- danthon0
Thats the impression I get as well.
It would be nice to have a board built by the people who ride BC.

It's a cool concept, custom boards. But I don't know anyone who is dumb enough to shell out $850 for a board! It's NOT that important how it looks and half the time it's covered up with snow anyway? I live in Utah and ride at Snowbird/Solitude and new board won't even last me a year. If you want to grab a good board at a decent price, these guys have some of the nicer high-end boards: http://www.the-house.com
Happy winter to all...it's here.

series 13 - custmize your board
vs.
"custom" - type of board
little confusing. where's jacob neilson when you need him-ha!
- 2cent0
back on the topic... the whole "custom" board idea will last about as long as Burton's idea to open up an e-commerce site did.

2cent - you seem to know whats up. wadda you think, burton or another? i'm torn. my wife loves her feelgood...not really sure what other boards would compare to a custom(not customize). i want to demo a few to decide but dont know what would be comparable.
any ideas?

If you have the budget look into the CustomX.
I got a 2004 CustomX on ebay with P1 bidings brand new.The board is sick.

i bought a UnInc last year and it kicks ass!
- nextseason0
UnInc's are very dope too.

yeah those Burton Cartel's are pretty sweet.
I would go for the Burton, they're good boards, they have a kick ass warranty and I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with it.
I've owned a few and never had any major issues with them... my biggest gripe was that i thought my BMC had a really thin base, was getting core shots left righ and centre on that board.
I've been riding Forum decks for the past 2 years and will be agin this year... Team 64, good decks as well, Forum had some major issues when they started out but they ironed all those of it out when they switched manufacturers.
