Good Monitors?

Anyone recomend and good (hopefully cheap) flat screen monitors.
I would like to get 2 x 19inch + to sit happily wiht my G5.
I have been looking at a brand called 'Viewsonic' anyone know what they are like?
I know sony is a good option, but they can be pricey!
Any recomendations please?

Yeah man I was going to reccomend Viewsonic before I even opened the thread. They're good. I have a 21 inch CRT that I love.

I got the ViewSonic 19" LCD with my G5 for $550 from CompUSA...well $650 and a $100 rebate. I think it's a great monitor and a SUPERB value.
Even cheaper now!

I've got a Samsung 191TPlus
It's nice... high contrast, black base with a thin silver bezel. Nice match for the the G5.

I wasn't impressed by the Samsung 17" LCD my buddy got...but maybe the 191TPlus is different?
Have the Apple dudes at CompUSA throw a few monitors on a G5 for you and threaten to walk of stage and blame it on the band if they won't.

we use samsung at work, CRt's anyways and they are ok... never used a samsung LCD mind...

I use projectors on my walls and sit in the mindle of the room with a wireless keyboard and a mouse..

I only put the inexpensive ones, but from the whole list, including the apple one, and de EIZO ($1,199 - 19") the Nec was the one that got the best reviews.

I have a Viewsonic 19" PF790 that I've had since 2000. Viewsonic's are great monitors, flat glass, lots of configuration settings, but that is what you get with flat front CRT's.
You would not go wrong with something like this:
