Anyone know how to operate iTunes (WinXP) from behind a firewall/proxy server? I'm not so much interested in the iTunes store as getting track names etc. from Gracenote but I can't get to it from behind our firewall.
The iTunes help file tells me to search Apple support, which when searched tells me to...

no can do unless you allow iTunes to bypass the firewall.
Been there, done that. Got the t-shirt and flyer.

That's what my network manager asks everyytime I ask him about it.

Every time.
Any reason this is significant?
