But there site is down atm.I want to be able to play these exe files on my dvd player, is there some way to convert these files to avi ?

it would help us to know what format you are trying to convert from. However, more than likely it's some movie format so maybe try and use Sorenson Squeeze at http://www.sorenson.com or import into something like Sony Vegas Video.
