Notes and stuff

  Is there anyway to include printer notes next to each page in InDesign so that the printer understands specific directions?

  Also I cannot seem to manualy kern like I can in Illustrator. Any tips?

  and there is a purple bounding box of some kind that is displayed in Normal View Mode by default and I am curious if this boundry is a tile or artboard? what is its purpose?
