My mom has a Cairn Terrier. She rescued him, and he's fucking nuts. Mostly in a good way though....
He digs like a maniac. You can't stop him - he'll dig until he's so tired that he lays on his side and digs with one paw. Not under fences though... he only digs for plant and tree roots.

yeah, they say they're really hard to train past year 1. So we're doing our best to keep him from diggin'...... Wish me luck!

that's what i want to do. But i can't because the dog only likes girls. He hates me. :^)
i have to settle for him roto-tilling my back yard. It looks like WWI trenches back there.

Damn..... haven;t run into that yet... He does like to stick his face in our houseplants though... He'll walk up to me w/ a face full a dirt like I don't know what he was just doin'. I can't stay mad though.. hell- i can't even get mad at the little guy!

My fiance's brother has a similar cairn, but older. He's a jumpy, bitey, excited jumpball.
