Webhost Suckage

I recently ran into a snafu with my now former webhost NetMondo (DO NOT USE THEM, they suck balls) anyway, long story short they sent me an invoice to pay so I paid it, then they came back and said I need to pay MORE because of their "policy" changes which I was unaware of before I paid. I then said hellz no & to check the invoice they send me, and now they're not willing to refund my cash.
Does anyone have any advice on what I can do? Would reporting them to BBB do anything?

good luck with the BBB, they probably won't help you out much.
in the meantime, you need to pay. if you don't they are justified in sending the unpaid invoice to a collections agency which would put a black mark on your credit report.
if it was a large sum, i'd say fight it, but if not, it might be more trouble than it's worth.

OK, it wasn't even a big sum of money that they're not willing to refund, but it's the principle of it. Furthermore, they stupidly let their in-house email communication get into the response they sent me and they called me names... that just made my blood boil.

go to BBB if they are members. otherwise worthless.

if that's the case I would either 1) get indignant and say that if they're going to call you names infront of you like that, they should at least refund the money or 2) get uglier than they are and/or publicly post their email on a website with high SEO.

Thanks for the response, I think I'll send 'em a box of home made poop.

Case in Point here:
Running a website is becoming as pointless as it is difficult.
