Read the Tao Te Ching (pronounced, DOW De Ching).
"The ideas "difficult" and "easy" support each other.
"Long" and "short" define each other.
"High" creates "low"
"Tone" creates "noise"
"Before" creates "after"
"Have" creates "don't have"This is why the Sage acts without effort and teaches without words.
New things are created and the Sage just accepts them.
Things fade away and the Sage accepts that too.

I read "The Tibettan Book of Living and Dying" by Sogyal Rinpoche and thought it was good.
Seems like a bit of a basic introduction to it for Westerners if that's what you are into

also "Be Here Now" was very insightful to me and a few close friends. I think it's like $9 on Amazon.

He goes to hell,
the one who asserts
what didn't take place,
as does the one
who, having done,
says, 'I didn't.'
Both -- low-acting people --
there become equal:
after death, in the world beyond.Look out President Bush, The Buddah is talking smack about you.
