after effects classes

hi all, does anyone know if there are any after effects classes or seminars available in south england? failing that, any after effects cds/dvds that are good. mainly after effects aimed at the web.

Dude, all you need is the internet. I've been doing an after effects unit at Uni this semester. Haven't really learnt anything from the classes. Although i've learnt heaps by mucking around with the software, reading the manual and going through some great tutorials i found online

i cant find any good online community for after effects. ive posted messages on ultrashock and the like, but dont get any response at all. its not like photoshop and flash wheres theres a strong online community (unless ive missed it). dont get me wrong, i can learn from teh manual as best as the next guy, but if this company can pay for any tuition, then all the better for me.
