ok so lets say i want to put a photo in dreamweaver and want sections of that photo to be able to be clicked and linked to another page how do i go about that?
for example....lets say i have beach scene photo and it has a palm tree , beach ball and some other items...how would i be able to make the tree selectable or the ball the only items that are selectable?
im sure ive seen it done before but cant figure out how to do it!

Ya, slice it up or make an image map. The map would probably be easiest and wouldn't require chopping the image up elsewhere.

yup.. image map is easiest way...
Once u click on ur said image.. look at the properties bar and you'll see a Blue Square, Cirle and polygon.. click on one of those and draw on the image where you want the clickable area.. Can be done all in dreamweaver.,.. Once you have drawn the shape just type in the URL to the little box and you're ready to go!
