    what postscript RIP are you osx users using? I'm using Gimp Print but I'm having difficulty getting stuff on my 1290 to print correctly (colourwise), even from pdf which looks great on screen the colours print really saturated and nasty.. Also, when I print using the normal epson driver from freehand, my tiffs are really bitmapped, like a preview, but crazily, eps files are printing perfectly.. that shit shouldn't happen.

    so yeah, how do you get your best colour results on an epson 1290, print from RGB or CMYK? I know that sounds dumb but I've found sometimes that RGB converts more accurately..
