tucker is such a pretentious wanker. bout time someone gave him a lashing.

WOW that transcript was long but freakin fantastic.

The best part is when Tucker gets indignant and starts personally insulting Stewart saying stuff like "you're a depressing drag, you'd be terrible at dinner, you're too pedantic" that sorta shit.

i love jon stewart, and im a canadian...
he's more real than cnn and funny how he's only allowed to broadcast on the comedy network...
much like politically incorrect's bill maher, his show will likely get cancelled and he will begin to get black balled just like anyone else in america that speaks truth on the airwaves.

checks and balances, by Stewart nonetheless
awesome

steve, bill maher got cancelled off of abc (politically incorrect) his newer show is on hbo and is a big draw for the network from what they say. hbo doesnt have advertisers so there really is no reason to get rid of him. In other words, I hope you are incorrect. :)

choice entertainment

That was brilliant. When you combine smart, funny, articulate, and ballsy you can't go wrong. He looked so utterly frustrated the whole time, though, like he was talking to a pair of two-year olds.

Jon should come to canada like Conan. The crowd will love him here.

As long as he doesn't make fun of Quebec too much.

Stewart was amazing and completely put the Crossfire guys in their places.
These guys are hosting the unedited video of the entire show. Get it while you can.

I don't think it's fair to blame the media, ultimatly it comes down to us teh people...we watch we buy... if we really want to stick it our leaders.... take the bus,. only buy only what we actually need....if a vast majority of people did that for a month... no even a week it would send a huge mesage...

Abandoned... I disagree...
I think it IS fair to blame the media... or at the very least get tough with them.

Abondoned, how will you ever make decisions on certain things or politicians, if you have media that actually works for them and serves the people with pretty much false or skewed information.
Jon Stewart is right on the mark. That bow-tie prick deserved a lesson on live television.
