So here is what I wanna do...
My laptop is on my coffee table, my stereo is about ten feet away. Without breaking the bank, I want to play audio from my laptop (pc/xp) to the receiver wirelessly. Anyone done this shit? Thanks brethren.

I don't think there's a cheaper product on the market. Everything I've seen also has all the media serving capabilities. So it plays pictures and movies off of your machine.
You're looking at $250 then (roughly).

also remember with FM your not getting full quality sound. But with airport express you get the full whack

It says it will work. Im not a big audio dork, I think this thing would suffice. Just wondering if anyone has one now before I get one. Unless it is teh ghey, I wont get it.

If it just broadcasts every sound coming out of your audio port, then that thing would work like a charm!

FM transmitters are worth shit...TERRIBLE sound quality...really not worth it at all and im not a sound geek...i just got an airport express and it is relatively dope...but yes just itunes
