My "Top 25 Most Played" songs out of 4,762 are all but one Afghan Whigs songs.
Who else thinks the Whigs were the most under rated band of the 90's?

I'm feeling you on that one. By the way, what do you think of the new Twilight Singers cd?

I think The Catherine Wheel was the most underrated band of the 90's - but the whigs came in a close second.

I've only got Debonair, what else should I be looking out for?

I don't have the newest "covers" cd by the twilight singers but loved Blackberry and Black is the color....
I'm going to see 'em next week, can't wait! Last time I saw him he played a few Whigs songs, prince, OutKast, Fleetwood Mac, and even some Clapton.

Good choice ..."Gentlemen" is a really good album, but a bit of a downer though.

the whigs were fantastic. i'm impressed this thread is here right now. twilight singers are just as good imo. she loves you (the covers record) isn't that strong, but it's still interesting and has some solid tracks. blackberry belle is top notch. 1965 and Black Love grew on my a lot and think they both are incredible records.
It's a rainy day in Cincy, it might just be a good day to toss black love on.

Saw them twice, once in Cleveland and once in Cincinnati. They rocked the house circa 1995.

Black Love and 1965 are great as well. I just wondered what your opinion on the new Twilight Singers cover album was because I don't like it. I think Twilight and Blackberry Belle were much better. Be sure to post on here and let me know how the show was.
