My wife and I had our first real date.
I'd met her a week earlier playing a show with my band in Liverpool, and we'd been talking non-stop on the phone since then.
I remember as the train pulled into Lime St station from London...I couldn't really remember what she looked like...but there she was at the end of the platform like something out of a Humphrey Bogart movie...a cute little hat and coat cos it was cold as balls.
We hugged and then kissed and then laughed for a bit...and went out for thai.
4 years later we are married and living in Denver.
It's a funny old world.

Ahh nice story Jevad.
4 years ago today I was watching a bunch of burly men pack my life and possessions into a moving van to be shipped to the UK for my new life and job in London. I was saying goodbye to my friends and family and getting ready for a new adventure. And what an adventure it has been since.
