today is not a holiday - i'm correct in thinking that is true - right?
i am at work and no one is here. no computers are on, no voices from around the corner, or down the hall. i've called some folks and no one is answering.
hope there wasn't a bomb threat that i didn't get word of b/c i come in a few hours after everyone else.

I think it depends on where you work. It is Columbus Day. Everyone will be here at my job eventually today. I wish I was off...

yup it depends on where you work. all government institutions are closed. ie... no mail, banks, or school (most). some companies are off but usually on 'holidays' like this traffic is much better cause a lot of people will take the day off work.

i woke up 15 minutes late (shitty alarm) and made it work 10 early. I even stopped for breakfast. It was weird. No complaints tho.

i even encountered a rollover accident a couple miles from my house on a side street you're only supposed to go 30 on... so how in the hell did a ford truck end up on it's side in the middle of the road?!? oh well.
