Ok, not that the site looks bad, but does anyone notice that they took ideas (features) for some sections from other sites. Most noticable examples are:
1. The head movement that was obviously copied from another site that was showcased here that first introduced that effect/idea.
2. When you open shoes, the whole "Yugop" effect he created for that architectural web site (with small papers that sort out and all that). It's exactly the same, sorting and all that.
Nice site alltogether, but I think that they could've done something more original.

Wasn't skateboarding back in the day sort of the alternative to Nike. I mean it was the polar opposite to the whole football/baseball jock-sports game.
Skateboarding was different and had no rules. 10 years later the other guys want a peice.
Well executed site by the way.
This has been strike dance around routine #11

and don't get me started on how I feel about Nike jumping on the skateboarding bandwagon...shot shoes - stick to running

I will have to say i like the new site better then the old one. As far as people saying that Nike is just now getting into the skate game is full of it. They have been trying to break into the skate indust. for almost 15 years now. To anyone that says the shoes suck, why do they suck? I have been trying to find skate kicks that don't fall apart in two days of skating, since ES came out with the Sal Barbies in '95. I have tried the Nike E-Cue's They are one of the best skate shoes i have ever worn. They hold up so well it is insane, the air zoom makes the shoe so comfy. I'm not a total Nike fan, but in this case they are doing something right.

"They have been trying to break into the skate indust. for almost 15 years now."
And...what thats supposed to give them some cred? Bollocks to that. I'll buy skate shoes made by a REAL skate company over a shitty sports/lifestyle company trying to get in on a piece of the pie anyday.
I still rock my Sal 23's
