hey all. doing a flier for a drum n bass party. need someone to cast eyes over this as im hungover. The hands dont seem right, its to do with the shadows i know, any tips on getting it right... any other comments.

tony! hah yeah a clit huh? anyhow's i would switch up the top type, it yells out shareware font like you wouldn't believe, i'm sure there are a few other futuristic type font around that don't look like that.
besides that i think it's cool, nice idea....

That ugly font is the logo font the asked for, they have already got it on a huge banner that goes behind the dj, i protested the thing from day one but they insisted on it. You can only advise people so much eh.

i also made this little flash thing for them... it synchs with the sound perfectly locally and in a standalone projector, but once in a html document its outta synch

yeah, the last 4 letters come in exactly when that jamacain barrel drum beats come in. and the buzzsaw should spin with the initial 3 crunchy sound you hear, aswell as spin when the last 'phaser' sound at the end. I'll try and find a sound synch tutorial.
i agree re the hands. i'll try and add some noise to dirty them up a bit
