Work starts at 9:00, but everyone in production gets there between 9:30-10. That's to make up for the fact that even though the day officially ends at 6, we often go home at 10-11. Pretty shitty. Especially without overtime.

very strange dobolina.. a newspaper ? finishing at 5.30 ???
only gov agencies here finish at this time.. and maybe secretaries.. there must be very little work to work only that amount each day.
i have an hour drive to my job, i can't say i'm having a break at lunch time, i come back so late home.. but that job is so nice and interesting..

trick is to get up early, enjoy the morning for a few hours, then work. really helps to de- stress, people dont look at mornings as their time, just time to get ready for work, which makes it work.
I also cant understand people who rush to work, imagine running for a bus to take you to a place your gonna be for 8 hours.

yeah definitely the question is do u like what you are doing at the end of the day.. I come here every morning at 9.30 after a 1.30 ride (3 different vehicles) and go out at 7p.m at the earliest.
There is a 1 hour lunch break.Ok do I like what I am doing now, well I think I don't anymore, I have been working here for 13 months and need a break.
but if you'd put me a whole deal of coding and making the site work, I will definitely stay up till morning in that order.
sad eh ?

This is all quite sad. I think Designers are under payed and over worked. I wonder what would happed if we had a trade union to stick up for us???

I always get in early if I can - it means my commute is faster and gives me time to read NT
