Please, be as harsh as is constructively possible.
I've uploaded four images created for an assignment earlier in the year and just wanted some feedback.

mate, someones scribbled all over your designs!
only kidding. if the design is to be ALL over the cd cover it looks really dark and heavy.
i like the disc face more than the cover.
maybe the cover could be like the disc face (minimal) then when you open up the cd booklet it'd be like "BANG!" mad colourful illustration inside.
you'd probabaly find that a white cd cover with a splash of colour (like cd) would stand out more on the shelf from other cds if this was in a music store.
theres my tuppence worth.

yeah, what konspiracy said.
The first thing that draw my attention was the cd, because of its overall simplicity mixed with some colour splashes.
Nice work.

Nice handwriting. And i agree with the others. Also, people like to be able to read the tracks, make them a little clearer. To make it look more official you should add the usual copyright/barcode stuff, might help you to learn about placements aswell. good work for your first go at digital

Thanks guys. I've got to say that overall I was definitely most happy with the CD face design too. More comments are welcome and I really do appreciate the feedback thus far.
As far as the barcodes and stuff go, if I hada had time to chuck them on I would have but I was more focused on the stuff that was actually being marked :P Maybe next time!

I'd stay awsy from CD artwork for your next assignment. It must seem every student under the sun does graphics for some band. Potential employers, are far more interested in seeing practical things well designed. I guess it also depends on what sort of company you want to work for too.

save, we had specific requirements and one of them was we had to make either cd artwork or an A3 poster. CD Artwork took my fancy.
