Hello, folks, How to create a small pdf_CV file for downloading? I finished the layout in illustrator 10 and started to create a pdf in arcobat 6.0 Professional, the file is 500k for only 2 pages of black and white plain text only. I feel puzzled.
Please help.

create eps in illi then use acrobat
distiller.

just place the cunt in quark,pdf it there, or as the man impakt said-use the distiller. you'll cram it into 40k max!

I can't create pdf in quark cos im and old school quarker.

open the miniatures window on both pdf files and just drag the miniature icons of the pages to the other document.

If you got Acrobat professional you can also open .ai files directly with Acrobat then go to the Advanced menu and select PDF Optimiser. That makes the best PDFs I've seen, really small and usually look OK too if you fiddle with the compression and resolution settings a bit.

embed fonts too, line art looks shitty in acrobat by default, i learned that today
