Do you use one? For how long?
What size?
What model?Do you use it in Photoshop only?
I'm looking into getting one I just never used one and don't know how good they are.
Thanks.

Wacom will change your life. I got an A5 sie for my laptop and it's great.
That is all.

Go to futureshop, and buy whatever model they have there. Try it out for a few weeks and then return it. If you miss it, then get a bigger one.

lot of threads on this, use the dB. :)

I use one.
Got one of the old ones (about 4.5 years old now) still works a treat, like the day it was first put on my desk.
Size: Oversize A4
Model: IntuosNot just photoshop, got a mouse and the pen so use it for everything. It's wicked in photoshop, you can't appreciate how cool having a pressure sensitive pen is until you've actually used one.
The Intuos3 tablets look awesome...

yes, 4 years, huge, noidea what model, I use it for video editing, photoshop basically everything, they are great but I like to use a mouse to do repetative stuff, but things that require allot of travel are rad with a tablet.

I blagged myself an intuos3 and love it to death. They cost a bit, but I cannot reccomend it highly enough. They last forever too, so if you are strapped for cash hunt one down on eBay, but the intuos3 is definatelt the best imho.

stay away from the graphire ones...splurge for the intuos. the difference is HUGE.

I'm looking to get the 6x8.. I do both photography and graphic design.. Is this a good size to get or should i stick with the smallest one?
- GreedoLives0
if you're gonna be retouching photos, bigger is always better. will take you longer to get used to, but it's worth it. the smallest sizes (3x4 or whatever) are crap imo, i would even recommend you move up to the 12x18 if you can swing it.

these are the sizes for the Intuos3 4x5, 6x8, and 9x12.
I'm thinking of ordering from www.tigerdirect.ca
Are there any ohter good online stores that can beat tigers prices?
6x8 is $410.99 CDN + $13 shipping.

i've been using wacoms for 4 years, had and a4 to start, and now i'm on an a5, they're great. False double clicks are annoying at first, but generally, they are the best
