i keep seeing jobs in the states, seems like the market is great everywhere, but i cant get much work here (toronto)... think its time to move and get a full time job

do you have a green card set up? or work visa? if not do it before you get to the border. otherwise you move and can't work. kind of a bummer.

There are jobs in Toronto, you just have to keep at it.
Took me a while to find full time work (couple of months)... just out of school. But something eventually came up. Go to multimediator and go through the list of companies and just start sending out your CV and portfolio link. A lot of people won't email you back, but don't get discouraged (I must have sent out like 100 resumes).
I have companies contact me every now and then to see if I am still looking even though I contacted them months ago, so it pays in the long run. I think cold calling (phone/email) is going to be the best way to find work here in Toronto. Forget job posts way too many people apply.

yeah, i need to get at it more i guess, i've applied for a few places, without much luck, its frustrating, plus im trying to get my company up and running again since i'm now finished school and recovered from my jaw surgery, time to get moving again, just not sure where to begin i guess
