Someone please jar my memory here, what was the plugin that everyone and their mother was using circa Photoshop 3.0 with the fire effect? Was it Alien Skin? Or somesuch nonsense. I remember using that for the first time and thinking that I was rad. Too bad your client is still stuck in 95'.
